For many centuries, the church has adhered to the belief that there are “true” prophets and “false” prophets. Believe it or not, this is not entirely correct. If you want to gain a deeper understanding of how the Father views, works with and works through the prophets, grab your shovel and let’s dig a little deeper.
Ever since I wrote my "Working for the Elijah List" testimony, people have asked me "Where are the Real Prophets?" Quite honestly, up until the last couple years, I didn’t have a clue! I just knew who they were NOT! Well, I’m happy to say that I’ve found them… they are alive and well and they are NOT on TBN!
The church fathers were men who probably had the best of intentions, but they took the perversions learned from the preceding church fathers, formulated new teaching around the same erroneous frame of reference handed down to them, and preached those sermons within the framework provided by the spirit of the times.
Without studying the history of their faith, most Christians assume that, after the book of Acts and the death of the original apostles, the faith was carried forward without issue and remained doctrinally the same. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Both scriptural and historical evidence show that “christian” is a very ambiguous term used to describe a disciple of Yeshua. So who were His true followers?
