Kim Clement, praised by many as God's "Man of Power for the Hour", accused by some as a false prophet. Personally, I don't endorse him because his track record is riddled with inconsistencies and inaccuracies.Still, the guy has large following of people who are willing to listen.
Because people desire a “have-it-your-way” supernatural experience, they are prone to seek supernatural fulfillment through carnal (sensual) means. In order to understand “the prophetic” from a biblical standpoint, it would make the most sense to look at the behavior of prophets of the bible. Prophets were always a spokesperson for God, calling the children of Israel back to obedience to His commandments. Their behavior could be classified as “odd”, especially when you look at prophetis like Ezekiel and Isaiah, but the “end goal” of their demonstrations was always to display Israel’s unfaithfulness, the punishment that would result from that unfaithfulness, and the benefits that could follow IF they repented. After reading the latest word from Kim Clement, I am amazed at how a person can be so right …. and yet, at the same time, so wrong. I’ve occasionally been accused of wanting to smear the Elijah List’s (as well as some of the other ministry’s) reputation(s), nothing could be further from the Truth. Let me be the first to say that I am all for the “toppling” of the Iranian and Syrian regimes, but I think Kim has put himself out on a limb here …. again. I wanted to bring this out because I believe it’s time for us to start holding our “prophets” accountable for their words. Not to be “mean spirited” about it, but this needs to stop. [Read More]
