In “God’s Mercy-Naries”, Bob uses a quaint little turn of phrase to prophesy of an Army of God who is untouched by “the spirit of religion” (a “spirit” not found anywhere in the bible) and shows the mercy of God to everyone. I serve a God who doesn’t change, and I’m assuming that you all serve the same God. For generations, we have been taught the Old Testament/New Testament paradigm. They teach this paradigm in our seminaries, our “christian” schools and our churches. As a result of this foolishness, when we read the Word, we either consciously (or subconsciously) break it up into two parts, usually disregarding the Old Testament as a bunch of neat stories or a reference to how things “used to be”.
