To those of us who feel that Obama is going to somehow hasten the coming of “the End Times” with his actions and beliefs, let me share with you what I read in an email today from Charisma News.
Obama, Netanyahu United at UN, Obama Rejects Palestinian Statehood Bid
Although many have criticized President Barack Obama for his assertion in May that Israel should return to their pre-1967 borders, Obama and Israel Prime Ministrer Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear they are on the same page.
Obama and Netanyahu met at the United Nations Wednesday, and the two said only negotiation can resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Both the United States and Israel have strongly opposed the Palestinians’ plan to bring a statehood bid before the U.N. Security Council on Friday.
Now, I am NOT an Obama supporter. I didn’t vote for him, nor did I ever want him in office. I’ve stood against him on almost all of his viewpoints. But I’ve heard many people talk, full of fear and fully convinced that Obama is going to bring this nation to it’s knees.
But there is something more powerful than the narcissistic, muslim, left-wing, pro-gay, pro-death President of the United States. It’s called the Bible … and, oh yeah, GOD wrote it!
I find this verse very applicable to Charisma’s headline:
Proverb 21:1 “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
Listen, I know that “the End” is coming. We’re closer to it today than we were yesterday! But this earth isn’t going to “go to hell in a handbasket” until GOD decrees it. And walking in fear isn’t going to help, in fact it will make matters worse.
Meanwhile, believers, preach the Kingdom. Live Holy and Righteously and look to the skies. One Day we will see Him!

I am grateful for Obama’s stance with Israel. But I can’t help but wonder what the trade off was. But God will have His way for He is in control. The Lord must surely have moved on his heart
Did not the angel ask the disciples, “Why do you stand staring into the sky?” Jesus is coming back “To His Temple.” That is where He is coming to first. And those who look for Him will see Him a second time. Then, every eye shall see Him, and He will NOT look like the physical depictions we see of Him, which he said not to create ( draw, paint, sculpture, carve). He said that we are to no longer know one another OR Himself after the flesh. Look up, your redemption draws nigh (“up” as to a higher plane than the flesh).
Thank you so much for that Scripture. I needed that. I really did. I have found it quite difficult to pray for this president. Thank you.
It is so funny watching you White American’s hate on President Obama. I have to admit that you who say you are Christians not being able to pray for as you call it this president. I promise you Presient Obama is not your problem, you had problems long before he came along. He just brought it ALL OUT the love – I mean hatred (love it) I love it that people like you who think you have this Christianity thing together and then, oh my goodness, an African American President. Messed your head up. ha ha. I will also admit that I am wrong to, because I am a beleiver, but the difference between me and you is this. I did not and will not ever vote for a republican, but I had no problem praying for Bush, because he bible said to pray for our leaders, Pray that you be delivered. Another important scripture. How can you say you love God, in whom you have not seem and hate your brother and see him daily, John say you are a lier and the truth is NOT IN YOU. 1 JOHN 4:19

Hi Norma, I personally would welcome (with open arms) a president of ANY color who truly stood for righteousness, and I believe that I’m not the only one who feels this way. Although there is racism out there, most of irritation towards our current President has nothing to do with color, it has to do with where he stands on the moral issues that this nation currently faces.
You’re right in that you said we (the people of God, regardless of color) had serious issues before Obama came along. In fact, when we look at scripture, we can see a direct correlation between the righteousness/sinfullness of the people of Israel and the type of rulers that God set over the nation. I think it’s the same in America today. May we all (black, white, asian, hispanic) repent of racism, bias and idolatry — we won’t see a righteous judge over this land until we do.

Uh…Norma–for you to ascribe racism to white people against Obama is arrogant as it is ignorant. We are not against him because he is half-black! We are against him, and all like him–all democrats and liberals because they are God-hating, righteousness hating, evil-loving, pro-Sodomites, pro-aborts, pro-perversion people. Every demented, anti-christian and anti-Constitutional group finds a home in the demon-crat party. These people have betrayed our nation, its founders, its laws and its God. They belong in jail–every single one of them.

I’ve known very nice and giving democrats and republicans … I’ve also known mean, arrogant and outright demonic democrats and republicans.
IMHO, both parties have done very little to improve this nation – morally, economically or relationally. If you do some research, BOTH parties serve the people who are REALLY in control of this nation. Trust Me, this is NOT AN OBAMA BASHING MOVIE … it takes turns with both parties. It’s only called that because Obama is our current president.
The Truth is …. we are in dire need of Truth in this nation, and it starts by us taking a personal responsibility to find it in the Word and live it out. But don’t expect it to be “a bed of roses” — the end times are not supposed to get better for those who follow the Messiah, in fact, blood will be shed. Political parties and skin color will mean absolutely nothing then …. the color of our blood is the same.
So you are judge, and jury. It is arrogant of you to say such things. I believe ALL republicans are evil. And that’s just my finite opinion. Kevin you are right. But people let’s not decieve ourselves RACISM is part of it. Even when he make a sound decision, it’s not enough. But trust me, I do understand, been there. Mr. Kevin you have a good site, after I read that comment on the President, I had to comment. Keep up the good work.
