Are You Going to Hell?

hellIf you are offended at this video, there’s a good chance that you are.

This is THE MOST important message of our time. If you are new to this site, this video is more important to YOU than ANYTHING I’ve written, including the Elijah List posts.

Please take 10 minutes out of your life and watch this video clear to the end. Modern-day “christians” are not exempt from hell.

Once you’re done watching this video, check out “Killing Religious Cows: De-bunking a Salvation Myth” for further meditation on what it means to be saved.

Blessings and Peace,

  1. All I can say is WOW! May God bless u man of God and we as saints must relaize that we must have our own relationship with Christ and obey according to the word. May the grace of God be with you and your ministry and though somethings I don’t agree with, I do agree that we must wlak according to the word and the word of God and correction must come to the house of God. Thanks for obeying God

  2. There is sin on both sides… relying on the LAW to be saved and relying on GRACE to be saved. We need to be careful to preach the message of being transformed. We bear fruit not because we try harder, but because we are attached to the vine. We stop sinning because we are convicted. My guess is that God watched Billy Graham and saw flaws and maybe even some sinful behavior that fell short. It doesn’t mean we won’t see Billy in heaven.

Jesus’s word of warning to us was not “you did all this so I’m not letting you in heaven” but that he didn’t KNOW us (and the flip side of course means that we really didn’t know him either). There was no relationship. THey did a bunch of good things… and yet headed toward hell. My concern is that there are a lot of people that have been told (by teaching and by action) that if you said your sinners prayer, come to the worship service on Sunday morning (and maybe Wednesdays) and are decent to people and follow the 10 commandments, take your turn in the nursery and give your tithe, you’re going to be just fine. The biblical warning to us is that all our righteous acts are like filthy rags (menstrual cloths). Jesus gave us a picture that if we even lust after someone in our hearts we’re adulterers or if we are angry we are murderers. I think the idea was… this is the standard, can you try hard and achieve this? And I think the answer is “no”. So we have to then lay on the potter’s wheel, stay attached to the vine, eat from the tree of life (not good and evil) … it is only by letting God direct and lead us… be who he called us to be… let Him conform us and transform us… take our proper place in the body… that we will make God smile. I’m KNOW God will chastise/punish us for misbehaving, but maybe he doesn’t berate us for every time we fall short of Jesus’s example.

Ok… that was a longer rant than I thought it would be. Anyone have any other thoughts? Btw, I hope you see that I’m not disagreeing with the preacher… I’m just concerned that people are going to watch this and their response is going to be to try harder to be good and follow the rules, and (in my opinion) that’s a walk in the wrong direction.

I’ll take another stance on this Mike. Not because I disagree with what you said, but because we need to realize the times we live in and the message that is being preached in 99.9% of the churches out there. For the past 10-15 years, there has been an onslaught of false teaching that you can coast into heaven without trying. Under the guise of false grace and “the Father’s Love” (sarcasm implied), people treat Jesus like a good buddy and not a “Coming King”. Therefore, I think it’s timely that the Body hears a corrective message, like the one above. It’s true that obedience does not save us, but if you are truly saved, you will obey. You can’t fool God, and if someone is truly making an effort to follow the Messiah, you won’t fool them either. People who TRULY have a heart for God need to be “waked up” and realize that God (in His mercy) saved us and made us a part of the family of Israel, did it for this purpose …. so that we could follow His commands so that the world would know how to follow Him. People who say they know Him and do not follow His commands are liars.

      All the Best!

  3. Just so those that hear this KNOW that THEY cannot live a life pleasing to God OUTSIDE of The Holy Spirit of God. They cannot do this in the power of their flesh. God has to change the heart. We have to want and ask Him to. He says, “You have not because you do not ask.” Wake up Christians. It is written, “Devils believe, and tremble.” You CANNOT LOVE THIS WORLD AND LOVE GOD. Is there ANYTHING in this world you cannot/will not give up for Him, when He reveals it to you?
