This man was truly a prophet for his time, and even more so now. I am thankful of his ministry, these words, although challenging, encourage me. I am tired of tickled ears, and listen to Ravenhill's sermons prepared to be brought closer to God to be torn apart that more of Him might be made manifest in my life. Praise God for the people who walk in his legacy, those prepared to truly risk it all for the sake of eternity. Nobody in my fellowship has responded to my queries about Ravenhill – which saddens me. Much of modern day charismatic circles is filled with a mixture of Word Faith, mysticism, and Vineyard streams of teaching/emphasis. When I go back to when I first met the Lord, none of this existed in the church, and God was truly moving. If it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived in the last days.....we need to be very careful. God still moves by His Spirit and the gifts are real but the vast majority of what we see today seems off at best. It isn’t just the prophetic movement.
