Introducing False-Prophets.org

false-prophets.org

Before I created this web site, God laid it on my heart to create a blog that would preach the Word without compromise, encourage believers to depart from this world’s system and turn back to God. During this very same “season” in my life, my family and I were being healed from the trauma of working for the Elijah List. [Read More]

The Lakeland Revival of 2008 was Unstoppable Too!

Todd Bentley

I was doing some more research on the Lakeland Revival and stumbled upon this message on the Elijah List web site dated April 23, 2008 (at the “peak” of the Lakeland Revival). Apparently nothing could stop that revival either ….

“June 22 to July 22 will be a significant time in the spirit. (Todd didn’t elaborate on this period.) This Revival will NOT be stopped.” [Read More]

Elijah List, God.TV and Todd Bentley – Partners in Deception

Elijah List - God.TV - Todd Bentley

Around 2000-01, Steve Shultz was an avid supporter of Todd Bentley, shamelessly promoting Fresh Fire whenever he had the chance. Todd Bentley was removed from the web site(s) soon after the Lakeland fiasco occurred and hasn’t been added back to the site since. My guess is that, due to the sheer embarrassment, Steve doesn’t want to touch Todd Bentley with a 50-foot pole. I could be wrong, but if past behavior is any indicator, Steve will do anything to preserve the reputation of the Elijah List. [Read More]

Todd Bentley and God.TV Team Up for South Africa Revival

Todd Bentley

God moving among His people is a beautiful thing … and I’m all for forgiving ANYbody of ANY sin. But have you asked yourself why, all of a sudden, there’s this HUGE fanfare over a Todd Bentley event? Other ministers have had “revivals” … God.TV never “gate crashed” their schedule for them. What gives? [Read More]

Transcending the Cult of “Nice”

Cult of Nice

Sometimes I think that one of the reasons why Jesus chose fishermen to be in His group of disciples was because of their “thick skin”. Jesus knew that He need people who could handle the Truth, even if it was a discomfort to their flesh. [Read More]

Soaking – the Trendy Approach to a Holy God

soaking

Because people desire a “have-it-your-way” supernatural experience, they are prone to seek supernatural fulfillment through carnal (sensual) means. Trained by the world (and from the pulpit) to pay attention to, and feed, our “senses”, they feel they’ve encountered a “the Spirit of God” when their senses are tickled by ANY supernatural force. Prophetic – What Does It Mean To Be “Prophetic”?

prophetic drunkenness

In order to understand “the prophetic” from a biblical standpoint, it would make the most sense to look at the behavior of prophets of the bible. Prophets were always a spokesperson for God, calling the children of Israel back to obedience to His commandments. Their behavior could be classified as “odd”, especially when you look at prophetis like Ezekiel and Isaiah, but the “end goal” of their demonstrations was always to display Israel’s unfaithfulness, the punishment that would result from that unfaithfulness, and the benefits that could follow IF they repented. Video: Sunburned Part 2 – More Truth About Christmas, Easter and “the Church”

Sunburned

If you count yourself to be a Seeker of Truth (a Hearer and DOer of the Word), you will have to ask yourself many times (almost daily), “Could I Be Wrong? Are there certain aspects of my Walk with God that are out of line with His Word? Do I adhere to certain practices that may be popular with the church, but grieve the heart of God?” [Read More]
