As I daily renew my mind in the Word of God, I find myself in a constant state of having to re-define Jesus. I have found that the “present day” Jesus that we hear of in the mainstream church is nothing like the Jesus in the Word of God.
Jesus was not an Anglo-Saxon frail man with a shepherd’s staff and a sheep under His arm, nor was He a sweetheart who went around hugging everyone. He was a carpenter’s son who obeyed His heavenly Father perfectly, so we could follow in His footsteps.
He was … and is …. My King.
